EXPRESION OF PERSUADING

Persuading is an expression to persuade someone "mengajak atau membujuk" atau "persuade " dalam bahasa inggris

Example for expression of persuading
Can’t I persuade you to…? 
– Let’s join… You won’t regret it. 
– I’m begging you. Will you…? 
– Just this once! 
– How I can persuade you to…? 
– Won’t you… Please? 



Dialogue of Persuading

sentana       : dendi. What are you doing this evening? How about a movie?
                    dendi: Which one?
sentana       : There’s a good Indonesian movie at 21st theatre.
dendi          : you know I don’t like Indonesian movies.
sentana       : Oh, Come on. I’ll sure you’ll enjoy this one.
dendi          : I don’t enjoy Indonesian movies. I can’t follow the conversation fully.
sentana       : So what? We’re not Indonesian. Most of us are not able to follow the
               conversation fully. But there are so many other things you can enjoy.
dendi          : That’s true.
sentana       : Then why don’t you come?
dendi          : All right. I’ll be at the theatre at 7. Is that OK?
sentana       : Fine. See you at 7.
Anthony      : See you.

Now bellow is an example of short dialogue using expression to convince your friends due to the representative of the class in English speech competition
John: There will be English speech competition in my school
Tom: So what?
John: My friends appoint me the representative of the class
Tom: That is great
John: The problem is…..
Tom: What is the problem?
John: My English is not quite good
Tom: Your English is on the track. The grammar, structure, pronunciation, what else?
John: I am not so confident
Tom: Why not? I bet you will be one of the winners
John: Ok, if you think so. I will prepare myself for the competition
Tom: That is the best decision and that is my best friend
